In the publication series ›Studien zur Siedlungsgeschichte und Archäologie der Ostseegebiete‹ project scientists and external authors present recent archaeological results from the former East-Prussian territory and neighbouring regions. The project leaders Claus von Carnap-Bornheim and Matthias Wemhoff have been publishing the series since 2012, in cooperation with the Christian-Albrecht University in Kiel and on behalf of the Academy of Sciences and Literature (AdW) Mainz.

Since the beginning of the project ›Continuity of Research and Research of Continuity‹ the public has been regularly informed about the progress of work. The short annual reports appear in the ›Jahresberichte‹ of the Schleswig Centre for Baltic and Scandinavian Archaeology and in ›Acta Praehistorica et Archaeologica‹ published by the Museum for Pre- and Early History in Berlin.

The project scientists publish their results in national and international journals. These publications comprise project-specific contributions on East-Prussian source material, on selected archaeological sites, and on hillforts and are listed under the keyword ›General Contributions‹.
