Nina Dworschak

Nina Dworschak studied Pre- and Early History, Archaeology, and Cultural History of the Middle East, Ancient Scandinavian Studies and Political Sciences at Goethe-University in Frankfurt/Main. She completed her studies in 2011 with a master’s thesis on the topic: ›Das orientalische Fundgut in den Seehandelsorten des frühen Mittelalters in Skandinavien‹.

On the basis of archive material and original finds Nina Dworschak examines the long and significant excavation history (1870 – 2014) of the Early Mediaeval Burial Site of Wiskiauten in the former East-Prussian district of Fischhausen, today Mokhovoe/Kaliningrad Oblast/Russia.
